Life is fluid. Now more than ever, we need modern storage solutions that are adaptive, intuitive and built to last. Tanner Good’s Tekio Modular Shelving System was developed with these three key values in mind, without sacrificing beauty or simplicity. Constructed from quality hardwoods and high-grade aluminum and steel components manufactured in the USA, Tanner Goods has taken the classic mid-century extruded rail system and elevated it to their own specifications.
Suited for a variety of environments, the modular shelving system is highly adaptable and can easily grow and adjust with you and your surroundings. People move. Our spaces change — but that shouldn’t mean the products we rely on become obsolete. This considered approach to design allows for incredibly efficient, dynamic interior solutions for your home, studio, office or retail shop. Utilizing a range of unique and functional shelving options, each unit can be configured endlessly with ease.
The soul of the Tekio system is an extruded aluminum frame, a product renowned for its strength, rigidity, versatility and minimal weight. This material was first utilized in a storage system designed George Nelson in the late 1950’s, but as modularity fell out of fashion and consumers moved towards cheap solutions manufactured overseas, the concept was discontinued. Tanner Goods brought this concept back to life, developing their own custom components and cabinetry that elevate and modernize this solution for contemporary use.
